Hamsters

One time when my sister and I were young we were digging in the back yard and found one of our previously owned Hamsters. When we buried it several years earlier we put it in a glass jar to protect it from scavengers. We obviously forgot about the hamster filled jar and ran up to the house to wash off the jar to get a better look at it before opening it up. To our dismay, after rinsing we see its decaying body smooshed up in the jar...

Angie's Beer list!

Since moving the the town of clintonville, we have been trying new and delicious beers from the local PaceHigh beverage store. We have been looking mostly for domestic beers that dont suck. Its a shame that when people come to America we promote our "gross" beers like Natural Light and Budlight. There are so many very good breweries in the states that need more drinkers. I am hoping to post more as I try them, to show some of my favorites.

through the screen

I have been experimenting with different perspectives and with different types of camera's. I decided one sunny day that I was going to shoot through the screen in my bedroom. I found the images to be interesting. I feel that I have grown quite a bit in the last year, especially with my photography and I will be sharing more frequently what I am doing. I am taking 3 photography courses this quarter; Color- where I will be shooting and developing color film. Social Documentary- where I will be confronting social issues. Alternative Camera- where I will be experimenting with different camera styles and creating/designing our own pinhole cameras. On top of that I am taking a life drawing course where I will be drawing from a live model.

Tomorrow I will set out with my newest camera a 1950s Argus Super 75! This will be my first time shooting medium format. Unfortunately I needed to convert 120 film onto a 620 reel before starting since 620 film was discontinued in 1995.

up to date

Well a little over a week ago I crashed my bike and ended up getting 14 stitches in my forehead. It has been pretty hectic in California. I lost my keys somewhere when I crashed my bike, so my dad ended up getting me a spare and shipped it out to me.

The past week we flew across the country to spend a week with Petes family in Ocean City Maryland! We had a great time and had lots of crab! It was very nice to get away, and I cant wait to be back in Ohio. Pete's sister ended up taking my stitches out during a game of scrabble. The family and I went out a couple times there was this bar called Secrets, it was huge and outdoors, there were 2 bands and tables out on the beach of the bay. Pete and I played with the kids all week and I got to meet some of his cousins from Minnesota.

Pete and I also started planning our return trip to Ohio. We are planning on going up North towards Seatle then taking 90 to 94 hitting Minnesota.
